The 6th Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival 2nd-6th May 2013

Welcome! Plans for the 2013 Festival are rapidly taking shape. Twenty two concerts are being organised across Cornwall. Daytime singing opportunitites will happen at tourist locations (e.g. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pendennis Castle and Lanhydrock, etc.). The International Competitions (optional, Sat. 4th May - see download details) and Symposium (Fri. 3rd May, a keynote lecture, workshops, master classes and for the first time this year a small trade fair), other tourist activities and socialising with other choirs will ensure a busy and fun time for everyone. In all, 50 different events will be organised at 40 locations. (Monday 6th of May is a public holiday in the UK but it will not affect Festival programming.)

For spouses, partners and friends of singers there's plenty to do too. Truro has a fine shopping centre, the Cornish beaches are superb and the countryside is very beautiful. Many places deserve exploration and there is no shortage of "things to do and places to go"!

Choir registrations from home and abroad have started to arrive at the Festival Office. If your choir wants to participate contact the Festival Director as soon as you can. The closing date for the receipt of entries from UK based choirs is 31st July and for non-UK choirs 30th October.

If your choir is interested in participating in 2013, downloadable versions of the Registration Form and Terms and Conditions of acceptance for participation are now available. The Registration form is now also avaialble to print on A4 in colour from a .pdf (three A4 pages).
