2017 Festival is now OPEN for Registration....

Choirs are already showing interest and registering for the 2017 Festival, including choirs from Australia, Czech republic, Croatia, France, Russia, Switzerland, USA, England, Scotland, and Wales!

Exciting plans are already underway for the 2017 Festival, including delivering a competition to rival any other Festival in the World.

This year, 70 choirs from 13 nationalities across the world enjoyed a wonderful time of music making, fun and competition. Choirs sang in 50 events at 40 locations across Cornwall.

Twenty two choirs competed in three categories for cash prizes and trophies. Click on Previous above for full information.

Several of this year's concerts were recorded by Chorum Records from whom CDs of the events can be ordered. Sound samples are here

The next Cornwall International Male Choral Festival will be held 27 April - 1 May 2017.

Click on the tab above '2017 Festival Details', where you will see how to register and read all the information about the Festival itself

The next festival is going to be the best yet, with some great concerts and events planned throughout the five days.

Although still 18 months away, we are planning in 2017 to host the finest collection of Male Choirs ever assembled in a Festival.

Choir numbers will be limited for this festival and, as application demand is sure to be very high, it is recommended that Choirs register a.s.a.p. to avoid disappointment.

The 2016 Composers Competition is now closed for entries!
The winning entry will win the Trophy and £1000.

Held every two years (in the intervening years of the Choral Festival), the competition has again attracted dozens of entries, and the winning item will be performed during the Choral Festival itself in April 2017.

The fantastic range of music entered has been wide and varied and entries have come from all over the UK. The Adjudicator - the highly acclaimed Dr Alan Bullard, will have his work cut out once again in picking a winner, as the standard looks incredibly high this year, so - 'Good Luck' to all our composers.

The winner will be announced at our Presentation Evening in Truro in September 2016

The closing date for entries was 31st March 2016.
