Welcome! The SIXTH Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival will take place 2nd-6th May 2013. With concerts and daytime singing activities throughout the Festival period and the International Competitions on Saturday 4th May it will be a very busy and enjoyable time for everyone. (Monday 6th of May is a public holiday in the UK but it will not affect Festival programming.) Choir registrations have started to arrive at the Festival Office. If your choir wants to participate contact the Festival Director as soon as you can. If your choir is interested in participating in 2013, downloadable versions of the Registration Form and Terms and Conditions of acceptance for participation are now available. The Registration form is now also avaialble to print on A4 in colour from a .pdf (three A4 pages). For more information, the 2013 provisional timetable and other news click here. For the latest 2013 Festival News click here. Festival 2012 Composers' Competition Deadline Approaches With a prize of £1000 this competition is open to any composer living and resident in the UK. No age limit exists for entries to the competition. Entries must be for TTBB (adult or teenage) choirs and must be original works not previously submitted for publication or performance. The deadline for the receipt of entries is 30th March 2012. The Competition Adjudicator will be Dr. Alwyn Humphreys, MBE, the world-wide renowned director and arranger of male voice music. About the 2011 Festival During last year's hugely successful six day Festival, more than 60 adult, youth, boys and school male choirs from across the world participated in concerts, competitions, less formal singing events and social occasions across Cornwall.
